We read tour listings, official visitor information and recent traveller feedback. We do not operate or personally conduct these tours, employ no photographers and hold no bookings. The sessions sit on the Amsterdam photoshoot comparison, and every number on the site carries the month it was last read.
Why this site exists
Search for a photographer in Amsterdam and the first answers are concierge platforms quoting $250 for 30 minutes and $545 for two hours, all delivering in about five days. The same hour with a local photographer, on the same canals, books from $57 to $208 on the mainstream platforms. Those listings are just harder to compare: one hands over nine edited frames within an hour of finishing, another includes a museum ticket, a third takes fifteen days but gives you every raw file to choose from.
Lining those differences up next to the price is the entire job of this site.
Where the facts come from
Session prices, lengths, ratings, review counts and inclusions are read off each operator's own listing on the date shown on the page, in US dollars. Listings checked: August 2026. Last price check: August 2026.
City rules, including the Red Light District photography ban and the Begijnhof courtyard restrictions, are checked against municipal information and recent first-hand reports, and dated where they appear. Weather figures come from the KNMI Schiphol series. Traveller feedback reviewed: more than 700 verified reviews across the listed sessions.
What we do not do
We do not take photographs, sell sessions, process payments, or handle rescheduling and refunds: the booking platform and the operator named on your confirmation do all of that. We have never claimed to have walked a session ourselves. Where this site describes how a shoot unfolds, that description is assembled from the operator's listing and dated traveller reviews.
How the site pays for itself
Booking links on this site are affiliate links. If you book through one, the platform pays this site a commission at no extra cost to you. The commission is identical across the packages we list, so it gives us no reason to rank one photographer above another — the ordering and the verdicts come from the listings' own numbers.
